Behind the Scenes: How This Newsletter Is Actually Created

I don’t sit down and robotically produce an issue just because it’s “time to send one.”

Before each Energy Insights issue, I pause.

I check in with what’s moving through me.
What feels settled.
What’s asking for attention right now?

That practice matters, especially for those of us who spent years working inside systems that rewarded output, compliance, and consistency over inner knowing.

January, for me, is calling for something different.

Not urgency.
Not momentum for the sake of momentum.
Instead, inner guidance.

Not in a dramatic or mystical way, in a grounded, practical, everyday way.

This month is asking me to slow down enough to listen before speaking.
To let what’s resonating now shape what I share.
To be honest about what I’m navigating, not just what I’ve already figured out.

This is a shift from how I used to operate.

In the past, I would push through, deliver, perform, and move on to the next thing. That approach worked in structured systems, and it didn’t always feel aligned.

January feels like an invitation to model a different way.

One where guidance leads.
One where honesty builds trust.
One where being in process is allowed.

That’s why Energy Insights may feel slower, more reflective, and less directive this month. It’s intentional.
